WHAT DO YOU KNOW ABOUT PLANNING?

Limex has long-term experience in implementing projects of Leather Footwear and accessories factories. We are able to adapt system parameters and installation options to your plant layout and production requirements. Our experience has shown that the overall success of any project is highly dependent on the care and attention given to initial project planning. This is why we recommend our clients to begin with a thorough analysis.

WHO DOES THIS ANALYSIS?

The analysis can be done either by the client alone, or by Limex alone, or in cooperation. The latter approach is the one we recommend, because we found it to be the most effective.

HOW WOULD YOU DO IT?

Our field-tested approach roughly consists of three planning stages:

  1. Requirement analysis
  2. Implementation planning
  3. Final proposal.

WHAT IS REQUIREMENT ANALYSIS?

Limex assigns an engineer who analyzes the requirements of machinery for a given project. We make sure that any unnecessary machine is not provided to you which will later sit at a corner of your factory and collect dust. We also take your budget into consideration during this analysis. Depending on the requirements, we will suggest you machinery from different origins like Italy, Germany, China or Taiwan. However, we like to emphasize that regardless of the origin we always suggest customers Standard to High quality machines. We will also suggest you whether you need brand new or reconditioned machinery depending on the complexity of a given machine and your requirements. The engineer will then visit your plant to get a firsthand view and find out the other requirements and limitations. This allows us to survey the installation site and adjust our planning of the project according to parameters collected. At this stage, we will examine existing systems, if any, and talk about implementation strategies, possibly evaluating early alternatives.

WHAT IS IMPLEMENTATION PLANNING?

Our engineering team works out custom specifications, system parameters, mounting instructions, and check lists. We also discuss which parts of the project are to be implemented by Limex and which parts are the client’s responsibilities. A detailed list of deliverables is prepared.

WHAT DOES THE FINAL PROPOSAL CONSIST OF?

Limex submits and offer for the complete package consisting of list of machines specifying “Brand new” or “Reconditioned”, Parts list for each machine, price of each machine, Installation cost, services and total price. The offer is accompanied by a complete set of technical documentation with schematics, diagrams, and a suggested commissioning schedule.

WHAT HAPPENS ONCE A PROPOSAL IS ACCEPTED AND CUSTOMER OPENS L/C?

Limex will communicate with the machine suppliers and send them their respective proforma invoices of machines. We discuss various important dates with suppliers like last date of shipment, EDD and ETAs so that we are on the same page. The suppliers then start building the new machines or start reconditioning existing machines depending on the final propsal approved by you. We follow every step of machine manufacturing very closely with the supplier and always keep contact with them. Depending on the progress, we hold regular phone meeting and/or visit machine manufacturing site at the respective country to survey the progress. We make sure that your machines are properly built, tested and packaged before they are boarded on the ship. During the voyage of the machine, we keep track of the location of the vessel so that we are always aware of the shipment location. We take pride in the thorough process we follow to make sure your machines reach Bangladesh safe, sound and on time.
